- One of following documents is required for an applicant from one of the countries above or an applicant who obtained the degree from the higher educational institutions in those countries.
(a) Apostille Confirmation of the academic background
(b) Certificate of Consular Confirmation of the academic background from Korean diplomatic offices in the country where an applicant was granted his/her degree.
(c) Verification Report of China Higher Education Qualification Certificate from CHESICC (only for an applicant who studied for a degree in China)
- ※ A diploma without any official verification is acceptable if you received the degree in Korea.
(2) High-burden TB countries

- In compliance with the policy from the Korean Ministry of Justice, an applicant from one of the countries above has to take a tuberculosis test including a chest X-ray at the designated hospitals and submit the result to the Korean Embassy when applying for a D-4 visa. For the information on the hospitals, please contact the Korean Embassy in each country.
(3) Countries that four-semester enrollment is required

- An applicant from one of the countries above and applying for D-4 visa has to pay four semesters’—a year’s—tuition in a lump.
