DEGREE QUALIFICATION

Master's Degree Program
  • A bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university (or expected to receive a bachelor's degree before the admissions period of the term the applicant is applying to)
  • Legally approved Educational attainment that is equivalent to bachelor's degree
Ph.D. Degree Program
  • A master's degree from an accredited college or university (or expected to receive a master's degree before the admissions period of the term the applicant is applying to)
  • Legally approved Educational attainment that is equivalent to master's degree
Joint (Master's & Ph.D.) Degree Program
  • A bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university (or expected to receive a bachelor's degree before the admissions period of the term the applicant is applying to)
  • Legally approved Educational attainment that is equivalent to master's degree

If a student is rejected from Joint Degree program, the application is automatically converted to Master's Degree Program as his/her second choice.(with exception to students in Dental Program)

Ph.D. diploma is awarded upon graduation (Master's degree is not awarded)

If joint degree was terminated and the requirements for the Master's degree are met, the student will be awarded the Master's degree

Graduate Courses

Master's and Ph.D. course student required more than 20 credits(in 30 credits)from Department of packaging. Joint(Master’s&Ph.D.) course case, 36 credits(in 54 credits). Master's degree student should do at least once oral or poster presentation(or announcement confirmed) before a graduate thesis. Ph.D. and Joint course student makes it a rule to publish(or publish confirmed) more than 2 paper which SCI(E) level by first author.

Graduation qualify test consists of packaging major exam and foreign language exam. Final pass need to all of these two exams pass and then you can submit a research proposal. Foreign Language exam means English exam and it should qualified by certain agency. Master’s degree does not have an oral test. If you do not meet the foreign language exam, deprived to preliminary examination of thesis. This language exam rule works to other non-English native foreign postgraduate student. The following chart is about foreign language exam standard. Conducted by agencies of the report valid for three years and the submission of the report is available at all times.

In case of paper listed on SCI (E) journals as the first author or get confirmed, can exempt the foreign language examination. It is also valid to non native English speakers same like domestic student.
